Well, with my fogs, I aimed them so that they shown down the road even with the head lights off. I made them hit the road at the same point. Whatever is most useful for lighting up as much of the road in front of you as possible.
As for the startup problem with the HIDs, you just plugged the HID ballast into the stock head light wiring? Yeah, that will lead to startup problems and eventually an electrical system failure. You need to get a wiring harness/relay kit. It wires to your battery like an amp, and uses the relay connected to the stock head light plug to shut it off. That way, the HID can draw all the power they need at startup without going through all of the restrictive stock wiring.

Well some good news guys! The biggest step to my car so far has finally been completed!!
The 5 speed is in and pulling strong. My boss and i stayed after work last tuesday night and got to work. We worked on it for about 6 hours and got the trans out along with shifter cable, shifter and all that fun stuff and the new trans back in. By thursday we had everything back in and just had a couple things to finish (bleeding clutch, putting gear oil in, wiring neutral safety switch to clutch safety switch). anyways shes all back together and drives nice! I cant believe the difference with the lightweight flywheel. The starter is happy too it doesnt seem to have to work so hard to crank the engine. Also the RPM's climb fast now! Night and day difference from the 3spd auto that was in there. Now after the clutch is broken in I can have some fun :DI only have 2 pics of the whole process. ![]() ![]() it really feels nice with the TRD short shifter. I also put in speed-source's clutch extended pushrod. I am 100% satisfied and the car is now fun to drive.
