hey x...when u get ur new XRS, here's a turbo kit for $1,100 by Speed Daddy:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2009-...item2a02aed20b ![]() TOYOTA 2AZ-FE (2009-10) Corolla XRS 21 PIECES TURBO KIT Speed and power are the goals of most performance tuners when working on their project cars. Many have turned to turbo kits, since turbocharging a car is the most cost effective way to dramatically increase the horsepower and torque of any engine. The turbo system works by utilizing the exhaust gases to spin a turbine, in which the compressor wheel sucks in and forces atmospheric air into the air intake of the engine. More air into the engine means more fuel will be needed. More air and more fuel equal more power. KITS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO :( AS SHOWN FROM PICTURE ABOVE ) T3/T4 (T04E) Turbo Charger Capable of producing 450+ HP T3 Flange to Manifold Trim Compressor: 57 Trim Turbine: 76 A/R turbine: 0.63 A/R compressor: 0.50 NPT oil inlet: 1/8 35/38" external wastegate flange 5 Bolt Downpipe exhaust flange 3" Inlet Diameter Front Mount Turbo Intercooler

this speed daddy kit might be a good starter kit, for th money (unless parts are missing)?...plus, its for 2.4 L not a 1.8 L, so it should get u up over 200 hp easily, if its capable of producing 450+

That manifold seems to hold well with power, you can find those for about $100 or so on ebay. No wastegate problems.
Pipes on kits like these are almost, if not 100% of time not the right fit. Which is why it even says "Might required to cut or modify to fit" Just going by statistics, I want to say you are going to need to push somewhere between 15-20psi on a standalone or great piggyback tune to get into the 400s. But if the couplers and other parts hold about 2-300whp is capable. Like mentioned before by -X-....no engine management nor injectors included, unless I skipped that part. Dont mean to make it sound like Im bashing, just presenting facts and experiences Ive had or read.... |

My suggestion would be...if you were wanting to make simple power then go with either AEM FiC or Greddy Emanage Ultimate. The AEM standalone is proving itself well with making big power on the 2AZ's as well. For injectors, size depends on power goals. 550cc should be good anywhere from 250-300whp As far as brands, there are RC Engineering, and Deatchwerks (sp) are popular. |
